Amy’s award-winning, interactive anchoring has been honored by the South Carolina Broadcaster’s Association, and the Radio and Television Digital News Association. National journalism organizations like The Paley Center for Media, The Poynter Institute and the Reynold's Journalism Institute have relied on Amy to share her innovative work.
Amy serves as a member of the Greenville Rotary Club. The Girls Scouts of the Mountains to Midlands honored Amy as a Woman of Distinction, and The SC Jaycees named her the state's Community Service Award winner.

She has been on the forefront of merging social media and news for nearly two decades, gaining national acclaim for her work taking viewers behind the scenes, producing content on digital platforms and connecting with her audience authentically - growing her online community to more than 200,000.

Amy's Travel |
Amy grew up in Westchester County, New York. She also spent three years living in Sweden as a teenager, when her father was transferred to his firm's Stockholm Office. As a member of her school choir Amy wound up performing with ABBA, both recording in their studio and performing live on stage. Amy's first broadcast work, began in Sweden in 1980 when she voiced narration in a movie for Swedish Television and was used as the radio jingle voice overs for station FMAK. Travel continued to be a love for Amy, when she studied for a semester in Buenos Aires Argentina. While with WSPA TV she was also able to travel to Moscow and the Arctic Circle community of Vorkuta, resulting in an award winning documentary.
